Stand & Deliver: The Lee Jeans Sit In |
| Greenock 1981.
Faced with the threat of their factory closing, and with 240 jobs on the line, there‘s no way the women of the Lee Jeans factory are going down without a fight. They barricade the doors, take a stand against corporate greed and stage a sit-in that lasts for 7 long months. Developed in conversation with some of the key women involved in the strike, this new play is full of authentic details that bring this significant moment in Scottish history to life. Played out to a live 80‘s soundtrack, this is the true story of the gallus Greenock girls who fought a battle against injustice that thrust them onto the world stage.

| Small Acts Of Love |
| A powerful new play that celebrates love, resilience, and community.
In the wake of the Pan Am 103 atrocity in December 1988, the people of Lockerbie responded with heartwarming acts of kindness for the relatives of people who died on board. In the face of the most extraordinary adversity, these two distant communities from Southwest Scotland and New York State built a lasting connection through friendship, compassion and humanity. Small Acts of Love is a compelling, true story based on meticulous research. The production is brought to life with original songs by Ricky Ross of Deacon Blue, creating an ambitious blend of theatre and music leaving audiences moved and uplifted. This landmark production reopened the Citizens Theatre. ☞ Finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn prize 2026 "Poet's Play is striking, even by her high standands, for it's absolute integrity and painful truthfulness" - The Scotsman

| Fruitcake |
| It‘s been a long time since things have been right between best pals Holly and Mikey, who all but disappeared during the pandemic. Holly still hasn‘t forgiven him for being AWOL when her mum was dying, so when Mikey demands she return the Maroon 5 CD he leant her over a decade ago, she‘s not best pleased.
Anger turns into concern though when she finds out why Mikey has been hiding away. He‘s convinced he‘s a modern day Nostradamus. Holly thinks Mikey needs an urgent medical intervention but Mikey hasn‘t got time for that. He‘s seen a vision of a catastrophe worse than anything that‘s come before and he needs Holly‘s help to stop it. Fruitcake is a romantic comedy for the existentially weary. Can we dare to hope, in the face of daily doomsday scenarios, that we might actually be able to change our world for the better?
'Tender, funny and occasionally disturbing, it's a beautifully constructed play that wrongfoots constantly.' ★★★★ The Stage ★★★★ The Guardian, The Scotsman, The Herald
